The role
FloorFound is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our small, fast-moving team and lead the development of modern, scalable web applications. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining features across the full stack—from front-end interfaces to back-end infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and impact.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Remix, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: TypeScript, Node, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, Vertex AI, BigQuery
- Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (Kubernetes, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack web applications.
- Collaborate with business owners and other developers to define and deliver features.
- Optimize application performance and scalability on GCP.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure as needed.
- Ensure application security, data privacy, and performance best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer, including front-end and back-end database-driven node-centric web and mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency with Typescript and React.
- Production experience with Next.js, Remix, or similar modern frameworks.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Solid experience with generative AI technologies (AI assisted coding, integrating LLM APIs, prompt engineering, MCP servers, agent development).
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to embrace early stage company challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data engineering tools and workflows (e.g., ETL pipelines, data modeling, BigQuery).
- Familiarity deploying and scaling applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
- Background working in retail, supply chain, logistics, and/or e-commerce.
