The role

FloorFound is looking for a Logistics Warehouse Coordinator in Compton, CA to help us grow and maintain our major logistics and warehousing arms of the business. You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Manager of Operations/Logistics to grow and carry out our warehousing processes/procedures.

You’re well-versed in warehousing principles and practices. Ideally, you’re a guru at record-keeping and care about the products you’d be working with.

This role is a full-time hourly role with benefits, general schedule is M-F during normal warehouse/office hours.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery/receiving of bulk inventory and returns to the warehouse for inspection and resale.
  • Inspect inbound items via the FloorFound inspection process, taking note of any issue with the item, as well as multiple photographs of each piece.
  • Repack of the item for storage, including labelling and staging for our partner warehouse team to store.
  • Scanning of the product into storage locations.
  • Merchandising of each item using the FloorFound web portal, including determining the discounted price point based on condition, and publishing to the web for resale.
  • Cross training new employees at various locations around the US as we scale, as well as travel for projects around the US pertaining to warehousing needs.
  • Additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to report to our warehouse location in Compton, CA every Monday-Friday.
  • 2+ years of experience in working in a logistics warehousing role.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing principles and 3pl processes.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and coordination abilities.
  • This role may require some travel to additional warehouse locations.
  • Background check is required if selected for the role.
