The role
FloorFound is looking for an Operations/Logistics Coordinator to support our growing recommerce start-up! You’ll be coordinating the logistics of all inbound/outbound furniture shipments, communicating with clients, carriers, and warehouses to resolve exceptions, and merchandising/grading the condition of items that flow through our network.
- Our headquarters are based in Austin, Texas, however remote applicants are encouraged to apply.
- This is a salaried position with full benefits.
- Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm CST.
Responsibilities
The Operations/Logistics Contractor will be responsible for the following:
- Quote and book all inbound/outbound freight shipments for FloorFound nationwide.
- Track shipments through delivery, including managing shipment exceptions.
- File freight claims in the event of loss or damage.
- Communicate with our warehouse and freight carrier teams should questions arise.
- Ensure timely inspection once an item shows delivery status to a warehouse.
- Merchandise inspected items based on the received condition, and publish to the site!

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in working in an e-commerce Ops/Logistics environment.
- 2+ years of experience in working with freight carriers in any capacity.
- Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Strong understanding of warehousing principles and 3pl processes.
- Dynamic and flexible enjoying a fast paced work environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills and coordination abilities.
- Eye for detail.
- Friendly and positive communication style with both peers and partners.
