About the role

Floorfound is hoping to hire a new team member to help continue to grow its already rapidly scaling ecommerce marketplace (floorfound.store), a key component of its recommerce solution for oversized retailers. With 8x growth in the number of retailers participating in the last year and over 250% growth in GMV last quarter, this is an extremely exciting time to join the business and the recommerce revolution.

As our Sr. Manager, eCommerce you will lead our direct-to-consumer platform and help grow our brand. In this role you will ultimately elevate our online presence while also increasing our eCommerce channel mix. Success in this role will require close partnership with a cross-functional team to enable new offerings, design components of new programs, execute pilots to test, learn, and iterate, and then ultimately scale-up. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that requires entrepreneurship within a complex, matrixed organization and understands how to build new capabilities while leveraging the expertise and scale of a Fortune 500 company.

You will ideally be a DTC veteran with a passion for building small brands and a deep understanding of an e-commerce business, including website infrastructure, content management, product pricing and merchandising, customer experience and performance analytics. Mission

To ensure Floorfound hits ecommerce and GMV goals through thoughtful merchandising and marketing of its brands and products, as well as compelling on-site shipping experiences.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior eCommerce Manager is a critical member of the team responsible for driving the overall operations of the eCommerce business to generate sales and meet business goals.
  • Grow our eCommerce capabilities by developing and implementing marketing programs, digital content, and new best practices. This includes merchandising, promotions, sales, and new product launches.
  • Manage milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects, keeping the team up to date with progress and decisions.
  • Evolve website KPIs and provide regular on-going reporting to full organization.
  • Develop and execute a monthly promotional calendar based on a balance of proven marketing and merchandising strategies, as well as testing of promising hypotheses.
  • Oversee email marketing, digital advertising, social media advertising and campaign performance.
  • Push the boundaries of our branding and ad content with on obsessive focus on understanding the Floorfound buyer and engaging with them.
  • Manage routine site maintenance including new item creation, pricing/promos, and content refreshes.
  • Promote/prioritize any site enhancements and development work that will improve results.
  • Identify opportunities to evolve the technical site infrastructure (BigCommerce platform) and work with the Product team to prioritize needs and resolve issues.
  • Actively analyze performance through web analytics and report out on site performance to the broader team.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years hands-on experience managing an ecommerce website.
  • Experience with merchandising, sales planning and managing the site experience.
  • Experience with digital and social media and/or with managing the associated agency.
  • Ability to partner and work with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and opportunities and get stuff done.
  • Passion to drive top-line growth.
  • Proven ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Comfort creating calendars and plans and driving to hit dates.
  • Excitement around brand creation and its connection to great advertising and marketing.
  • Strong technical and operational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and discuss both analysis and strategy to executive management.
  • Deep knowledge of Commerce technologies; ecomm platforms, site analytics tools, ad platforms, email platforms and personalization tools/concepts.
