FloorFound | Blog | Invest In Our Planet...And Your Brand This Earth Day

The theme for Earth Day 2022 is “Invest in Our Planet,” a call to action that encourages people, businesses and governments to build healthy cities, countries and economies. FloorFound celebrates this goal, and we are working hard every day to find new ways to support it by keeping more and more large, oversized items in circulation and reuse rather than in landfills.

Through our work, we aim to increase the life cycles and life span of oversized items, such as furniture and appliances, by supporting cradle-to-cradle strategies. This means helping reduce the 9 million tons of furniture and 2.1 million tons of appliances that end up in landfills each year while enabling retailers to actually make a return on their returned and resale items!

We envision a future where all oversized retail items have unlimited resale potential. One where even large items can find new life and create new joy. Through simplicity and service, to insights and sustainability, we help brands and individuals protect the planet one order at a time.

To date we've helped brands like Joybird, MG+BW and Living Spaces keep 450,000 pounds out of land fills and in homes.

Our clients are seeing dramatic results:

  • 72% gross recovery on inventory
  • 35% of recommerce buyers are new to a brand
  • 5% increase in bottom line revenue

Circular programs are not just good for the planet...they are good for business. Join the recommerce revolution and contact us to learn how your brand can thrive and help the planet.
