Privacy Policy
FloorFound ("FloorFound," "we," "us," or "our") operates the end-to-end sales operation for premium furniture trade brands. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit floorfound.com and related pages or take part in our text messaging program, how we use it, the third-party tools we rely on, and the choices and rights you have. FloorFound is a business-to-business service; this site is intended for trade brands, dealers, and other business users, not for consumers or children.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us (for example, by emailing us or registering as a dealer through our platform), we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, business email address, company, mobile phone number, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect standard technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Visitor identification
We use third-party visitor-identification tools that may associate a visit to our site with an individual business professional or with a company, using data those providers maintain. This can include a person's name, professional profile, business email, employer, and job title, or company-level details, even if you did not fill out a form. We use this information for business-to-business sales and marketing. These tools run only after you accept on our cookie banner, and not at all if you decline.
Cookies and tracking technologies
With your consent, we use the following third-party technologies. If you decline, none of them load and none of this data is collected.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with the service providers listed above and with vendors who help us operate the site and our sales process, under agreements that limit their use of the information. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of FloorFound and others. Our use of cross-context advertising and visitor-identification tools may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under certain U.S. state privacy laws; see your rights below.
Mobile information is treated differently. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except for the messaging service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, as described below.
Text messaging (SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp)
FloorFound offers an optional text messaging program, FloorFound Messaging, for registered dealers and supplier partners. If you opt in, we exchange messages with you at the mobile number you provide, by SMS, MMS, or WhatsApp, about inventory offers, orders, recommerce requests, and related conversations about doing business with FloorFound. That includes notifying you when something needs your attention, such as a new offer or an update to a request, with a link to view and respond to it, and replying to messages you send us. The program is described in full in the SMS terms section of our Terms of Service.
What we collect
- The mobile number you ask us to text and the FloorFound account it belongs to
- A record of your consent: when you opted in, how (for example, by email reply), the exact disclosure you were shown, and a copy of your confirmation
- The content of messages we send you and any messages you send us, including keyword replies such as STOP or HELP
- Delivery information from our messaging provider, such as delivery status, carrier error codes, timestamps, and message cost
How we use it
- To send you the notifications, follow-ups, and business messages you opted in to, and to let you reply to them
- To compose and send replies to your messages. Replies may be written by a FloorFound team member or by automated systems acting on our behalf, which may include third-party artificial intelligence providers that process the content of the conversation
- To honor opt-out requests and keep a number from being texted after it has opted out
- To respond to HELP requests
- To limit message frequency and respect quiet hours
- To prove consent and comply with carrier, telecommunications, and consumer protection requirements
Who we share it with
Messages are delivered through Twilio, our messaging service provider, which processes your mobile number and message content on our behalf to send and receive texts and to meet carrier registration requirements. Twilio's practices are described in its privacy policy. If we message you on WhatsApp, Meta Platforms, Inc. also processes your number and message content as the operator of WhatsApp, under the WhatsApp Business terms and privacy policy. Where we use automated systems to help compose replies, the content of the conversation may be processed by a third-party artificial intelligence provider under an agreement that limits its use of that content to providing the service to us. We do not sell mobile numbers or consent information, and we do not share them with anyone else for their own marketing.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or email support@floorfound.com. Opting out of text messages does not affect your FloorFound account or other communications from FloorFound. Reply HELP for help at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep consent records, opt-out records, and the messages we send and receive for at least four years after the last message to or from a number, so that we can demonstrate consent and honor opt-outs. An opt-out is recorded as a new entry; the original consent record is retained, not deleted.
Your choices and rights
Cookie preferences
You control tracking through our cookie banner. Choosing Decline prevents all of the tools above from loading. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California under the CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, or to opt out, email chris@floorfound.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites and services, including our platform at recommerce.floorfound.com. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
